Hey everyone, i ended up trying BeenVerified last week mostly out of curiosity i was hoping to get back in touch with someone i used to know and this site kept showing up in search results so I figured i had give it a shot at first glance it seemed legit the interface looked clean, and it gave me a little bit of info right away but pretty quickly i hit the paywall basically the moment you want any real details.
I probably wouldn’t have minded paying if the info was solid, but a lot of what I got was outdated with old addresses and phone numbers that didn’t work, stuff that clearly hadn’t been updated in years. the part that really threw me off was seeing my own personal info listed on there i never signed up or gave them permission to post that ended up having to go through their process, which was way more tedious than it should be.

I wish BeenVerified would just be upfront about what it can and can’t provide it they said we mostly have outdated info at least people could decide whether it’s worth it but instead they act like they’re giving you a full background check
