Just wanted to share a few tips for those trying to find people for free, whether you’re reconnecting with an old friend, checking in on someone you met online, or just doing a bit of background digging out of curiosity.
There are actually quite a few ways to go about this without spending a dime. Social media is a great starting point: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and even TikTok can reveal a lot if you have a name or location. If that doesn’t work try search engines with some clever keyword combos (name + city, workplace, school, etc.). Public directories and forums also pop up in results more often than you’d think.
Remember to stay respectful and ethical in your search. Just because the tools are free does not mean they should be misused.
