Hi, i need something that is good for checking basic background info so I’m looking for a solid people finder that can give me more than just a phone number or address, I’m searching for something more informing like previous addresses, possible relatives, or social profiles to help me verify someone’s identity before doing business with them.

Does anyone have favorites for this kind of info? And how accurate do you find these sites generally?

I’d love to hear if there are any hidden gems out there that aren’t super expensive but still reliable.

Thanks!

Been there! TruthFinder gave me way more details than I expected it worth a look if you haven’t tried it yet!

YES to hidden gems! Most people only talk about the big names, but I’m convinced there are better tools no one’s talking about

Great question. I do freelance work and background checks are a must. Anyone know one that’s reliable but won’t cost me a fortune every time?

Can someone explain the difference between people finder tools and full on background checks? Is there a big gap in what you get?

@katieway-88 Great question👏 Yes, there’s a pretty noticeable difference between people finder tools and full on background checks

So in briefing if you’re just trying to verify someone’s identity before doing business or meeting in person, a people finder might be enough. But if you need legal-level verification or more sensitive info, a full background check is the way to go.

Hope that helps!

Honestly, BeenVerified has worked well for me not perfect, but good value for the price.

Great post! Has anyone tried using multiple tools together? Wondering if stacking a few gives a more complete picture

Honestly some of these people search sites are just fluff, I’m still hunting for one that actually gives legit social media profiles. Any luck out there?

Is it just me or do most of these sites feel like they all pull from the same basic database?

@dawson Not just you! A lot of them use the same public record sources, so the info overlaps. The difference is in how they organize it and what extras (like social links or court records) they offer
